Johnston Aviation Services (JAS) is a privately owned and operated Flying School and Charter Company located at Port Macquarie on the North Coast of New South Wales and has been operating since 1989.

Jamie and Anne Johnston, being the managers have dedicated themselves to the industry and throughout their time gained a reputation as being one of the leading training organisations in Australia for their personalised and caring approach to training. Jamie being the Manager, Instructor and Approved testing officer, has invaluable experience in the industry. He has spent his time developing Johnston Aviation Services, worked with Impulse Airlines flying the Beach 1900's and currently conducts charter and endorsements on a Cessna Citation 525. Jamie's wealth of knowledge, youth and honest approach to training has brought Johnston Aviation Services to a level unparalleled by many others.

Experienced Staff

All instructors have been employed for their experience and dedication and are Grade 1 with IFR training approval who are able to give more personal attention to our students. We believe that the relaxed friendly atmosphere as JAS, with uncongested airspace and no taxi delays, ensures you receive the most efficient training possible.
Other operations include charter in which we cater for a number of corporate and private clients situated in Port Macquarie and surrounding areas, who frequently use our services.

Overall, JAS offers a sound learning environment, all levels of flight training are catered for at the school, and with a mixture of youth and a wealth of experience, all students are guaranteed full attention.
